GOAL!!!
Poder Jugar (Possession Play) is all about teaching players to pass and move and utilise the ball and surrounding space on the field.
Sessions are specially designed to develop as many small sided game opportunities (no more than 10 players on a pitch at any time).
The inclusion of ONE ADDITIONAL NEUTRAL PLAYER (FLOATING PLAYER) that assists the side in possession (e.g. 3 on 2 attack-focused games) encourages positive, attacking play.
Poder Jugar sessions include MULTIPLE GOALS/TARGETS in order to encourage peripheral vision from players. There is also a strong focus on reaching end zones and maintaining possession as a team goal (rather than playing in one direction shooting at one goal).
The side with the ball must score as many times as possible USING THE NEUTRAL PLAYER, whose ability to MAKE SPACE will prove particularly important.
Zonal attacking play and full pitch coverage.
Quickness of play
