The word Techne derives from Greek Mythology (τέχνη) meaning

' mastery of skill, technique, and art to accomplish your goals '

Techne Global is new form of sports coaching organisation, with a clear mission to revolutionise football in the UK. Our philosophy is simple; 'Technique is everything', and in doing so we have created a fun technique based football program which is proving to get results fast.

Techne Global was founded by Omari Williams (BSc, MSc, PGc LTHE) in 2010. Omari has worked with in child development through sport for over last decade. With a prior background in academia, Omari came from a background as a University lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University. With a first degree was within the field of Sport and Business Management, before going on to complete a MSc within Sport Development alongside a Post Graduate Certificate for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education provided a solid foundation to acquire academic research into how technique and performance can be developed in English football (Soccer).
